OT: Sony DSR-PD250 or JVC GY-DV500U?

I'm in the market for one of these professional cameras. It will often be used indoors for live theatre so low light is important. I've seen the quality of the JVC and was impressed, but I was also impressed by the quality of lesser Sony models than the 250. Any comments are appreciated!

The JVC is a superb camera, I have allways owned Sonys but have no budget for a 250 or above, I have had the pleasure of editing footage from the JVC and it was remarkable compared to my VX1000 the camera is more "professional" in that you can control knee and gain precisely, that being said I have never shot or edited footage from a 250.
