It's probably not an issue unless you are sending the DVD-R to a DVD duplicator.

What it means is you had a burn error, and when Nero read the data back from the DVD it didn't compare correctly with the original source. With video you're probably ok, but it depends on where the error actually occured. A spec of dust on the disk, bad media or poor quality media are a couple of possible reasons for this.

Unfortunately I am sending these to a duplicator.

And, nero says the burn completed successfully but the verification fails. Disk seems to be clean...i'm using taiyo yuden (sp?) disks. My burner is up to date with firmware

Did you re-burn? If so, does this happen on every burn at the same location or different locations?

Most duplicators want two or three copies of your DVD-R master so that they can resolve any burn errors on your media before they make the glass master.
