OT (sort of) - audio hilarity (?)

I just came across this and had to share it with you. I can't say it has anything to do with VV but man it is creative and just hilarious. Or maybe it is just an audio person thing.

I wish I had made this short...really I do. I am so totally inspired by this. But I am weird that way.

Reminds me of the time many years ago when I dragged myself out of bed in the wee hours to record some atmospherics. Found a little lane between rows of houses in the suburbs, hit record on the Nagra and right on que some guy breaks forth into a wonderful opera rendition in Italian. By the time he'd stopped the airport curfew was past and that was the end of that days recording.

I was at a local beach about two years ago, getting some sound for a sailing sim. Everything was going fine, when this elderly lady comes up behind me and says that I didn't have permission to record her. It took me twenty minutes to convince her that I wasn't spying on her and that I was a lot more interested in the breaking surf and the seagulls. I think it's the muff that makes people crazy. :-P

BTW I loved the short.
