" I was in the white section and got special animosity "

The world does tend to forget it wasn't only the black and colored peoples who were treated so badly.

Bob I got of very lightly I “went into hiding” for a couple of years and got nabbed when about the time when many people in the government started saying “we cant beat this thing” so after a very short period of confinement was sent to forced labor, met a very kind farmer “Jeff “ and stayed on his farm, so ate bananas, pineapples, had no money even for medical stuff and had to travel a short distance everyday to do the pic and shovel thing as the authorities trusted that I wouldn’t run away so because of this trust some were given more freedom than most and didn’t break that trust as it would have made it difficult for others in the same boat, after my 19 months rumors spread that we were going to get resentenced again as the government had done exactly that to many of us.

As part of our labor we had to paint government buildings so when they gave us voting boards to erect in one local area we painted them over, beautifully and then stuck them up.
As punishment we were painting buildings late into the night for many days after that. I was 22 years of age then.

America’s new homeland security policy looks a lot like we went through…..time will tel.

Rory,
You may already be doing this, but I hope you're at least planning to tell your story on video with historical stills etc..

- sounds like it needs telling.
