Spot probably can't even say the word "Vegas5" with the type of agreement he is probably under. Not even now some news is out officially, if he reads the smallprint.
The most he and others can probably do is re-quote the latest press release but not give any further words to indicate his opinion on the news.
Depends on the NDA, and also whether he knows what penalty he would actually pay if he did disclose or associate himself with V5 (he'd risk missing out on V6 perhaps?).

What is the point in agreeing to an NDA if you really don't know what damages would be recovered if you leaked, even unintentionally?

Spot, please tell us in secret code if necessary:-

;) wink for solely modeling the how-to on Vegas5+DVDArch2

\_/ "my glass is empty", for if you are still assessing the situation and way forward with the publisher

Just in regards to your next publication/s.

Hmmm, didn't think I was asking Spot to break the NDA. If I was I apologize.
Also, that's kinda why I wrote "CAN you answer this" in the subject header. Because I can understand if he can't.

I was being devil's advocate. I'm always interested in what Spot is creating for our consumption. He is such an ambassador for Sony (and others) and I wouldn't want to offend you or him with my prod.

NDA is a valid development control and so was your question!
It is an exciting period of time. I fear for my credit card!

:-) good point....

I wish I could answer this question, but I can't. All I can say is "Good things come to those who wait."

But waiting sucks sometimes, doesn't it? :-)
