I use Steadyhand all the time - it accepts a jerky widescreen avi and turns out a steady widescreen finished product.

Thanks, Gerry. Is there a SteadyHand setting I need to change to keep my files in widescreen? I input a widescreen avi into SteadyHand, and the output file looks squashed horizontally. I have to uncheck the Keep Aspect Ratio box and change the pixels to widescreen in the media properties once I import it into MovieStudio. What am I missing?

I use the "right out of the box" settings on SteadyHand. Haven't changed a thing.

OK, here's one more test. I took a 10 second widescreen clip, and ran it through SteadyHand. Then I put both clips in VMS, in a picture-in-picture type of thing, with one clip playing at the top of the screen and the other playing at the bottom, both playing at the same time. There was no difference in the visual size (height or width) when comparing the two.
