OK - I know that I cannot use video or audio I have not shot or licensed for other than personal use (my vacation videos for example). I also know that stock video can be very expensive (maybe not for all here but I have a very limited budget).

Anyway, I needed some short clips to use in some of my work that I will be distributing to other than immediate family, so instead of buying footage, I went out and shot some of the things I will need (flag waving in the breeze, some city street scenes, etc...). Some of it is pretty good (some is not but hey - it only cost me a few hours and a minidv tape).

The question I have is - Does anyone trade some if their stock footage? Or does anyone license their personal stock clips "cheap" for use in non six figure productions? Is there some kind of clearing house to facilitate this? (any entrepeneurs listenting - could be another eBay).
