OT: Stunning High-Speed Video

I am totally fascinated by high speed photography. The video I suggest you see on the site below was taken with the Photron APX, a high-speed imaging camera with a completely new and highly light-sensitive mega-pixel CMOS sensor with over one million enormous 17.5µm pixels. The APX’s sensitivity to light enables fast shutter speeds that prevent motion blur. The APX also provides full resolution up to 2,000 fps, and reduced resolution all the way up to a phenomenal 100,000 fps!

Go to this site Then...

Under "High Speed Cameras" select "Downloads" (this takes you to the "Gallery" page).

In the top row of images, select the the fourth from the left (or the second from the right, how ever you look at things). As you scroll over it, it should say "Water Balloon" and click on it.

The image was shot at 4,000 fps. It amazes me how much happens in a fraction of a second.

Hope you enjoy it. I certainly did!
