The Logitech LX700 Cordless Desktop (keyboard and mouse) is my current favorite since several months. I needed to buy a new keyboard and this was the only one I liked, even after an extensive search.

Amazon now has it for $39.95 after a $20 rebate. List is $99.95 and that's the price at Office Depot, etc.

The keys have a truly great feel, very comfortable even for extended use, with a nice click that lets a touch typist know something happened.

Lots of extra keys that actually work, for immediate access to apps of your choice, audio controls, a real volume knob, zoom in and out, scroll up/down/left/right, etc.

Nice dark design that doesn't give you glare or bother your aestethic senses.

Wonderful optical mouse that recharges in its own base (I recharge about every 2-3 weeks or so, never ran down). The usual two buttons on top and two buttons on the side, plus tilting scroll wheel that can also be clicked, plus yet one more small button on top for switching windows.

I found this keyboard to be significantly better in use than any other keyboard under $150. There are some nice specialty keyboards for $300-400, but they have disadvantages.

I was glad to get mine for $70 on sale, now at $39.95 that is just too good!
