OT: Teleprompter

The company I work for just gave the the go-ahead to purchase a teleprompter.
Are there any suggestions which one(s) I should look at for both field (that's the main use) and studio (10%)? I was looking in Markertek at the LC-110, but also thought the VP8000 looked like a good possibility - except for sunlight problems.
Any thoughts/recomendations would be great! I'm asked to keep this in the $3K or less range. This would be for use with our Sony Z1U and - hopefully also a Cannon XL-H1.

thx Jay, great link, talked w/Chuck on the phone there ... been meaning to get one but have been too cheap, but, now I think I probably will .. eg a broadcast 15" ..

PrompterPeople offer very good gear at amazing prices. I've had one for a year or so, and it's great.
