I just got a call from Shaw cable wanting me to try the Internet for a month.

It appears that Telus (phone company) is going to be offering T.V. over the phone line.
Shaw will be offering Voip phone service around the world for $35./mo for 1000 minutes even to a land line.

Shaw says Telus Internet will have to slow down the ADSL to make room for T.V. bandwidth while Shaw has upgraded to 30X ADSL.

I smell some good deals coming up.

EDIT I think the 30x thing was his prediction that when the ADSL slows down Cable will be that much faster.
