A great and fun turnout in Chicago Wed night and Thursday, it was a blast. Huge room, huge group, and lots of fun. Met a large number of forum participants from here and other forums, it's always terrific to put faces to names. Thanks to Jeffrey Fisher, the College of DuPage, and the people of Naperville for coming out to see the HDV Solutions Tour. The guy that won the chance at the AMD monster computer was practically jumping up and down, and the FCP user that won Vegas 6+DVD actually squealed. I haven't heard an adult do that before, and it was good to see her so excited. It's interesting to see the geographic regions where Premiere is strongest in the South, Avid in the Northeast, Ulead and FCP have strong holdings in the midwest, and FCP in the west. Vegas smatters in strong numbers through out all the areas, and of course, we'd expect high numbers of Vegas users simply because of the mailings we did and Sony did.
Edmonton and LA are next, with a date in Toronto following in early August for those wanting to catch the tour somewheres about.
