OT: The Video Vuys/Electronic Mailbox

I bought some FS-4 HDs and MX4DV Mixer package from these guys three weeks ago and I still haven't received everything I ordered..they're blaming the manufacturer. Anyone have any experience with these guys?
Not looking to trash them just wonder if I should be more concerned than I am. I'm so used to working with reputable suppliers like VASST, B&H PhotoVideo, Class On Demand for Vegas related stuff.

These guys are pretty solid - been supplying NLE stuff for many years.

Which Videoguys?
The ones in Melbourne, Australia or the ones in the USA?

Just realised there's nowhere for us to say where we live in our profiles, I think that'd be a help at times, even which country would do.

Bob. (In Oz)

PS, both are solid as far as I know, bought gear from both of them.

Electronic Mailbox are in New York - Gary Bettan is a good guy who does a lot more than sell - their site has lots of tips and tweaks for NLE. I bought a Miro dc30+ from them 10 odd years ago - worked out cheaper than anyone local here in Oz, then a couple of years later Pinnacle, who bought Miro, stopped them from selling PAL boards from the USA.

Like you Bob, I've used both the US and Aust Videoguys - they're not connected as far as I know, but both are good reliable suppliers.

I know that Focus Enhancements has had a very tough time fulfilling all the FS4 orders for unknown reasons. Videoguys are very solid, and exceptionally customer oriented, based on my experiences as a frequent buyer from them. Give em' a call on Monday, tell them you'd like an update, I'm sure they'll be all over it.

I've made several purchases in the past and they have been filled quickly. Sounds like a manufacturer issue.

Yeah, they are in Long Island, New York. I have had good experiences with them. Have they charged you anything?

Gary posts on a lot video communities and I'm sure knows the value of good service and a good reputation. I'll bet they clear up any issue.

Three outfits I deal with and they are all very good. Videoguys, Newegg, and B & H.
