OT-This can't be true?

I checked the DVDA forum to see if there was a way to set the text box in DVDA3 to adjust horizontally instead of the default vertical. The way it's set now, once you increase the font slightly, the text box drops down and covers the words below and is very unwieldly. It's almost impossible to use any font size over 12 with a 3 word title without it dropping down and breaking the words up.

The forumites at DVDA forum says there's no way to correct this. I find it unbelievable that I'm stuck with this option. Say it ain't so,please......

You can increase the horizontal length of the box.

Sure you can. Look at the tools along the side of the work area. Hover over them until you find the 'Sizing tool', select it and go for it to your heart's content.

I know you can manually resize the box horizontally, I meant can you change the option to automatically resize horizontally instead of vertically? I can't think of why someone would want the box to auto expand down instead of across.

Hmmm .. I gues I misread your original post. On a closer look, I don't think there is.

Perhaps SONY might take this as a 'new feature' suggestion???

Please click on the Support button at the top of this page and email it as a suggestion. I complained about this when I was a beta tester, and was completely ignored. It is amazingly stupid change (DVDA 1&2 did not work this way) and provides absolutely no "upside" benefit. I told them so at the time and, as you can tell, am still pretty ticked off that they chose to ignore me. I realize that I am not the end-all-be-all of beta testers, but the problem is so basic, and the rationale for making the change so completely lacking that the engineering manager has no excuse for not causing the feature to revert to revert back to its original functionality.

This is at least the fourth new thread on this subject in the past six weeks alone.
