OT: This land is your land- goes national on CNN & controversial with copyright

First of all this shockwave is halarious. I watched it with friends on the opposite side of the isle and they liked it too so it must be "fair and balanced or whatever..."

Then, I saw it on CNN tonight. At the end of the story they said that the producers (JibJab) had been issued a cease and desist for copyright violations.

While obviosly Guthrie, it is most certainly also a parody.

Clinton's "What'd I do? was my favorite line.
TheHappyFriar wrote on 7/27/2004, 4:57 AM
A different one then where clinton says "what'd i do?"

didn't hear of that one...

Hey Friar, how did you get it on your hard disk?
TheHappyFriar wrote on 7/27/2004, 9:30 AM
I used Mozilla (or any mozilla based browser) & loaded the page. I right clicked, selected the "view page info" option, went to the "media" tab and there it was. :) Now I could just select it from the list, click the "Save As" and it put it on my HD (I copy the link & put it in Gozilla though- i'm on a dialup).

Doesn't work 100% of the time, but it worked there! :)

Or search look for a 3.7MB file in temp i-net files when it's playing and copy out to wherever...

OK, I found the .swf object in the Temp Int Files and copied it out to my HD. But how do you go about launching it? I downloaded Flash and Shockwave Flash but not sure how to launch a .swf file......

Thanks,

TomG

Just double click in it & make it always open in IE or Mozilla (netscape). Then you're all set!
