OT: Toslink convertor

I have a fairly new set of Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 surround sound speakers. They are currently connected to my PC via the three mini-jacks (Green, Black, and Orange). This particular set of surrounds doesn't have a digital connection option (i.e. no Toslink or coaxial).

I'm getting a new computer that only offers a Toslink optical connection for surround sound. Is there a convertor that will allow me to connect the Ultra 5.1 surrounds to this new computer? Not exactly sure what you would call it but I'm looking for some device that goes from Toslink to the 3 stereo mini-jack connections (Green, Black, Orange). Any suggestions are appreciated.

Don't know why the new computer would only have Toslink. Maybe
something inside is available if there is a sound card. Otherwise you have to get a new 5.1 amp/receiver with a Toslink input. and hook your
speakers to it. Then again somebody might have something available.
Have you tried the Klipsch forum? They have some real way out people there. Be carefull though as they get into the basic understandings of all of the physical laws and constants that govern our Milky Way Galazy.

The computer is a dual Mac G5...I use both PC's and Mac's, Vegas and FCP. I haven't actually gotten the new Mac yet but the specs indicate the only surround sound out option is Toslink.

I suppose I could always buy a PCI based 5.1 surround sound card and slide it in, but I thought a converter would be the simple solution.

Never thought of visiting the Klipsch forum...thanks for the idea.
