Albeit a little off topic, Amazon is selling 16x Verbatin DVD+R discs for $42.00 per 100 - with free shipping.

I'm not sure how many of you all use these but I've been very happen with them. No problems at all with the my first 100 burning at 16x.

I usually don't have a problem buying those discs at Best Buy or Office Max for about $30/100. Seems like they are often on sale.

I've been casually looking for them around here (Dallas) and have not been able to find them. Lots of memorex, sony, tdk and other bargain brands. I just happened to have found my first batch at Office Depot, $79 for 100, but they have since quit carrying them.

Oh well, I thought some here may have been interested. I think I still got a deal though...

I used to be thrilled with the quality of Verbatim disks and bought them regularly at Sams Club. The latest batch (I confidently bought about 300) seem to be awful though. The must have changed suppliers or something. Anyway, I am wondering what to do with them. I had the same experience with Ritek: wonderful for an extended period, then overnight, lousy.
