OT: Videowall

UlfLaursen wrote on 6/13/2010, 8:22 AM
I am not sure, but something tells me that there once was a link here somewhere to a small utility like the "PictureWall" just for video, where you put several clips in rows and colums.

Am I totally wrong here, or does anybody know of such?

I know I can do it inside Vegas, but if there was a util, it would be nice :-)

Thanks.

EDIT: Actually found something myself :-)

Yeah - have found and downloaded it too some days ago - but could not make it work - so I have sent him a mail.
Pls. let me know if it works for you - else I'll keep you informed here.

Hi Einar

Just did a samll test. You can see it here:

www.webbroadcast.dk/Projects/VW.mp4

For that part it worked ok, but I could not get any borders to work - tried a lot of different things, might still have done it wrong though :-)

I'll post again if I find more.

Oh, you came far - here I installed it - but could not find it for using it in Vegas.
In both Vegas 9.0e 32 and 64 under Tools + Extensions it says: No extensions...
My fault, of course, but what did I forget?

Not Sure Einar - I did the same as you, and it just showed up, I just tried it in 9.0d 32 not on 'e' yet anywhere.

Ulf: If you have got a few minutes: pls make a search on your C: drive for where DaviTools are situated.
On my machine they are at
C:\Users\Einar\AppData\Local\Sony\Vegas Pro\9.0\Application Extensions and
C:\Users\Einar\AppData\Roaming\Sony\Vegas Pro\9.0\Application Extensions

I just tried it in 9e 64 and it seems to work fine> I had 9 video tracks and all had windows moved them around in real time and all still worked, did not try to render out but will try it today.

Also when I installed it, it came right up in Vegas.

... Ah, found it under View Extensions.
Works well now - except I can also not get any borders. Probably my fault, though...
