I should have mentioned this a couple weeks back but as most of ya know I've been using and loving Vimeo for sometime now. One thing I wasn't particularly a fan of was how they managed HD Embeds, as a Pro Member you were only allotted a designated amount of Embeded HD plays, once those ran out they would be SD (which I must admit still looked pretty frikkin good) or you had to buy more. For me when they had this I restricted HD embedding only to my site and a few select clients. Even though I never came anywhere close to using all of the plays that came with the Pro account it was still a drag knowing there was a ceiling. Upshot is that they recently changed it to unlimited HD embedding on Pro accounts and I no longer have to worry about and can let anyone/everyone that wants to embed my vids in HD. Here's the announcement:
Vimeo - Global Settings and Unlimited HD Embedding
Anyway, just thought I'd pass on the info. If you're happy with where ya are no worries, even though YouTube has come a long way in quality I still hate their branding and site. Ive also long loved the fact that Vimeo allows me to swap out a vid as opposed to YouTube where if I make a change I cant replace it, I can only delete it and reupload it again which would kill any embeds. I always upload to Vimeo and promote/embed from there and then a couple weeks later post my vids (if their short enough) to YouTube just for the YouTube folks that don't explore as much elsewhere.
Here's my page if anyones interested:
