I'm using an Osprey 210 capture card via an S-video link. It's been working perfectly for months. Then yesterday I started getting distortions in the picture. It looks like a badly tunned in TV with wavey edges and some snow. It was just bad for a few minutes then came good.
But today it's worse, totally distorted.
Strangely, it works perfectly for about three minutes after a reboot, then it snaps to the distorted view....
I've tested different sources, moved devices and cables checking for interference, checked all the cables and connections, reloaded the Osprey software etc. The source material is perfect and the same material I capture every day.
I'm really stuck.
What could possibly make it fine for a few minutes after a reboot, then collapse ? Could the card be malfunctioning somehow ? I do daily capture work on contract, so this is really killing me !
Any suggestions at all very gratefully received :-(
