I'm guessing Electronic News Gathering.

In the olden times of perhaps yesterday....

We used to talk about "ENG" (yes, electronic news gathering) vs. "EFP" (electronic field production).

An ENG truck wouldn't have much beyond a bucket of batteries because ENG meant: 1 camera, 1 light, 1 tripod, 1 mic, perhaps a utility person/driver, a shooter (aka. News Photographer), perhaps a producer, and a talent (reporter, that is) shooting stories for the evening news.

Times do change, and an ENG truck these days in a larger market is likely to have a microwave mast sticking out the top for live remote feeds and now maybe 3 lights and a couple wireless mics, certainly a utility person, otherwise the same.

EFP is what a station would put out on location for commercial and program production, multiple lighting and audio systems, perhaps a better tape format and a better camera, larger crews, etc.

Then there are the larger trucks with switchers, multiple cameras, an engineer to shade the cameras, an audio board, cool interior lighting... a little production control room on wheels, used for live switching of events with microwave or satellite uplink.
