My Sony BWU200S will not work properly in Vista 64 Ultimate. However it does eventually get around to working after jerking around for a while. It's like kind of pulling teeth. After all the hiccups and jerking for about 1.5 minutes it will burn OK. It will also not be recognized by Vista 64 if you leave a blank disc in it at bootup. I could not find any new firmware updates. If the burner is not recognized Vista 64 is smooth as silk. Vista 64 says all of the drivers are up to date. Sony advertisements say this burner is all Vista compatible. But in reality it ain't for Vista 64 bit.
