I know many on this forum are very particular about their titles and titling programs - Has anyone use Wildforms WildFX Pro and if so, what is your impression of it?
For flash-based titles, it's pretty good. Personally, I prefer Swish, Cayman Graphics, and Heroglyph for my title work outside Vegas, but also have used the Wildform/coffeecup products, and they work really well.
I use it every now and then. Hard to beat the quick access to complex text animations it provides. Also have Cayman Graphics, my favorite right now as they've let me play with a beta HD app. Darryl
I have it and use it (though I seem to be going back to plain ole text for much material).
As mentioned, there's a wealth of good material that they offer. Which is also a bad thing... there is no easy way to wade through the many animations except trying each out. I wish there were animated thumbnails to ease selection, or even descriptive notes to search.
Good point Pierre. Although they've started grouping them according to basic animations, it's still a challenge - and easy to get lost wandering around. Darryl
I agree with Pierre. I use it occasionally, but still go back to simple Vegas stuff. Now that I am more profficient at Vegas, can create some good title on my own. Main concerns are lack of HD resolutions and a slighty clumpsy interface. Also looks like they do little development on it as no updates for a long time.
