Hi
I have a strange problem.
I have 3 PC's connected to the same 2 monitors with a dual monitor switchbox. All 3 PC's started out with XP Pro SP2. They all 3 have an Nvidia card inside, 9400GT 9500GT and 9800 GT.
First I had 2 22" monitors, and now I have 2 23" monitors. On the 22" the res was 1680 x 1050 and on the 23" the res is 1920 x 1080.
All PC's run with both monitorsizes without problems on XP with the latest drivers.
2 of the PC's I have upgraded to Win 7 x86 and x64 on separate boot harddrives.
Here comes the problem: If I install the latest Nvidia drivers on both 22" and 23" res. on either of the two PC's, the second monitor makes horizontal flicker at the edges and in the middel.
If I take an old driver from before release of Win 7, everything is fine.
My concern is now, that I probably cannot run on this old version forever. I have not found any other with this exact problem. I have tried to google for it without luck. I contacted the reseller where I bought one of the graphics cards, and they had never heard of it.
What would you guys do? Should I get an ATI card instead, or something else?
Thanks.
