OT - Windows 7/64 bit question

BobMoyer wrote on 3/26/2010, 1:26 PM
I was out looking at a new laptop (Sony) today with Windows 7. Now the only native 64 bit program I have is Vegas Pro 9. Do I install all of my other 32 bit programs just the same as usual? Do I run them the same way or is there some sort of 'dual' boot option? What sort of install/run problems should I expect to encounter? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Just install as normal. You should notice no difference. Except your machine will be able to do more at once with less interruptions. I've been running Win7 since last October. Great product.

yes, 32 bit apps work fine in Windows 7 64bit BUT pls keep in mind, 32bit plugins may not play well with 64bit Vegas. You may have to load a separate 32bit Vegas to utilize 32bit plugins.
