OT: Won contest with Vegas

El Chico restaurants sponsored a contest for its employees to submit videos with the theme of 'What makes my El Chico special'. The manager of our local franchise let me come in and video the employees and some of their customers, and we won. It was all last-second, so some of the lighting isn't great, but everything was done in Vegas.

Now you got me hungry for Mexican! Good job on the video, I liked the plate-of-food transitions. :)

Congrats!

Other than those pesky booth/wall lights, everything looked great.
Fine job!

WOW! Great job! What camera did you use to shoot that footage--it looked great. I checked your specs, but none were available.

A great effort. I would have preferred some of the audio to be cleaner but I know how hard that can be to get. The lighting is OK, it doesn't have to look like you had a huge lighting budget plus without professional talent having a full crew would have lost the spontaneous vibe and enthusiasm of the talent. You had fun, they had fun, they genuinely seem to like working there so the food must be OK. If there was one of their restaurants nearby your video would convince me to give it a try.

Is it just me or is the aspect ratio wrong in places?

Bob.

Thanks for the comments; I used a VX2100 and a small lapel mic sitting on the tables. It was a lot of fun, and I gained a whole new respect for how much work the waiters go to.

The aspect ratio is the same all the way through, but... perception is everything, so if you think it looks wrong, then there are probably other viewers who notice something looks odd. Can you point me to where you thought the AR changed?
