I want to get dual LCD monitors for my video editing but don't know much about them. Since I live in OZ some brands aren't available here. I have taken a preliminary look around 7 saw this & would like any opinions about this one spec to see if it looks OK. The brand & model is Polyview V17E. The price & warrenty seem OK.

If this one won't do the job please feel free to suggest others.

Looks OK to me, I think the Polyview stuff is very reasonably priced and has a zero dead pixel warranty. I've got three Samsung 172Xs an they're great also but a bit more expensive. Main reason I went for the Samsungs was so I can have them on arms, my eyesight isn't what it used to be so I need the monitors a lot closer.

I'll probably replace two of them in the near future though with HP HiDef 23" units if the bank manager approves.

The pixel response at 14ms is very fast. I've heard of some 12ms ones available, but most LCD's are still only about 20ms.
