OT: Wow! Everybody seems so civil again!

Just got back from an 8-day trip to Lourdes, France for another videotaping project, and was surprised to see the flaming gone from this, my favorite Board. My head's in a mellow place from the whole Lourdes experience anyway, and it's an added plus that no one is yelling at anyone (so far, anyway).

BTW Lourdes was HOT. I had been cautioned to bring multiple sweaters and rainwear, but instead got heat and humidity and lots of pollen. Decent food, too.

What the hell do you mean??
We had a 128 post thread dedicated to badmouthing you, but it was deleted by Sony just a few minutes ago!

This is just as was predicted. Before NAB 2005 we were all sitting around waiting for V6 and we sort of got a bit bitchy and bored. Everything was OT or VOT or SOOT or SOT. Now with everyone trying to unravel V6 all is cool and technical. I liked the pre NAB 2005 world better. Remember how we used to attack Billy Boy and argue about what was HDV and what was not HDV? Now that was real exciting stuff. What do we have now? New bugs! Where in the manual do I find the HDV intermediates! Where is my Boris serial number! Can I nest within a nested loop? Boreing stuff.

Feeling a lack of attention, John?

Professional?... Monitors? -- Dangerous words, My friend.

Oops, I could be the first one banned. Just kidding, Sony. Just kidding, everyone.

Actually--she wasn't--well, let's not go there.

So I guess you are posting from un-threaded view of the forum. I annoys me when people post to the last message of the topic, rather than than to the message they are actually responding to. (It can be done right in either mode -- make sure you are viewing the message you are replying to.) By searching I guess you were replying to Grazie's message, but I see your message as replying to RichR's message which had no reference to Mia Culpa.

I have complained about this before, but it has been a while. If you don't understand, set your forum preferences to 'threaded view' for a few minutes to see the problem.
