Out of sync video with sound

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting these out of sync markers? I'm using 4 cameras in multicam mode and as you can see by the short video the events seem to be in sync until I slide it over to touch the event next to it. I just can't figure this one out.

I would say the take in the center video is affecting the audio to the right and the take in the right video is affecting the audio in the center. As they are "touching", the audio is "out of sync" with the other video - which is perfectly fine as they are two different sections from the same media.

I'm really confused... When you say it's perfectly fine and it in fact looks like the audio is all lined up so is it really lined up or out of sync just a bit. If I "synchronize by slipping it becomes way, way off. I guess what I'm wanting to know is this normal and should I just ignore it although it does seem like I'm doing something wrong to see these out of sync markers since these programs go to PBS.

Also, what exactly does that number of -3.11mean. Is it off 3.11 frames to the left of the video.

You're looking at it wrong. The center audio event is "out of sync" with the video event that is to the right. The right audio event is "out of sync" with the video event in the center of the screen.

They're not out of sync with the events above them. They out of sync with the events to the left or right of them but that's only because some has been cut out and those events have been moved.

3.11 would mean 3 seconds and 11 frames.

@Roger Bansemer Hard to see from your pic but if i offset the audio from a clip

then drag them i get get the red markers showing, are your audio & video the same length if you zoom in

I'm sort of getting the idea. Even though all the audio is lined up visually below the clip, it's telling me that particular audio does not line up with a video clip next to it. So when all is said and done, as I understand it, it really doesn't matter and I shouldn't let that worry me as long as my audio all lines up in below that particular clip.

That is correct. I believe you understand it now. As I previously said, They're not out of sync with the events above them. They're out of sync with the events to the left or right of them - which is nothing to worry about.
