Overexposed after rendering

Hope you all can help me. I am having a problem with my projects being over-exposed after rendering. I am using Movie Studio Platinum 12.0. Is there a way to reduce the exposure?

Apply the Computer RGB->Studio RGB Levels filter on the Preview just prior to rendering.

Ok, I am a nubbie. So, where do I appy your recommendations to change from computer RGB to studio RGB?

I found where I think I needed to go to make the change you suggested. Unfortunately, the box to switch RGB from studio to computer RGB was NOT selected. I assume that means I was already on studio RGB.

Go to the video effects on the preview window.

Select the Levels Filter. Apply the Computer RGB to Studio RGB Preset. Not the other way around. Render.

If you need visual instructions, start watching at exactly 4:30 in the tutorial. Try not to second-guess. Best.
