Overlapping events?

so can someone tell me an easy way to overlap 2 or 3 events? Why does CD architect 5.0 take the assumption that I want to edit 2 events when I drag them over each other. To get them to actually overlap, I have to enable the automatic crossfade, then go and adjust the the "default" crossfade to the "[" on each event. What a pain in the ass. Three painful steps to do a simple overlap of events. Now try to overlap 3 events and see what a cluster f*** you have on the screen. Anyway to designate a default crossfade of YOUR choosing? Am I missing a feature? Is there some their a better way to overlap events?

Do you mean an overlap without a crossfade? Why not use the second audio layer (Options menu)?

Thanks, this is what I was looking for, didn't see this feature, and it's not a right click option as most items are in the rest of the SF arsenal.

I agree - everything (in context) should be right-clickable.

You guys are right, it does make sense on the layer context menu, we've logged it as an enhancement request.

Totally OT aside here - have Macs got a proper right-click functionality yet ? My version of PhotoShop and Pagemaker (ported Mac-oid apps) have appalling r-click support in Windows....
