P2 MXF AVC-I clips green in media bin and timeline

Just loaded a batch of P2 MXF files into Vegas 13 (First time since upgrading from 12) and all file clip thumbnails are solid green. Dragging to the timeline has the same result....audio plays fine. Clips playback fine in camera so the MXF files are OK. Im stumped.....help appreciated.

I contacted support in July and this was their response:

Some other customers have encountered this problem in build 453 of Vegas Pro 13. In certain cases, the issues have been resolved either by rolling back the Vegas Pro installation to build 444, or by replacing the mxfp2.dll file I/O plug-in from the Vegas Pro 13 program files folder with one from a system that is not exhibiting the problem. In general, modifying Vegas Pro's program files folders from the way they are installed by default is not something we recommend, so if rolling back to build 444 is a viable option for you, you may want to try that. If it is not, I would be happy to send you the mxfp2.dll file to see if that makes a difference for you.

Rolling back didn't work for me, I finally had them send me the dll file and I got my project finished.

Thanks for the insight. Not sure how long it would take to get the file from Sony, so would it be possible for you to attach to an e-mail and send to me ? I also see a site from a google search, but have no idea what version is appropriate to address the issue.

Nothing I have tried works....I cant believe Sony is aware of this issue and still has not provided a reliable fix....do they hate Panasonic that much ??

Reinstalled V12.....cant get 13 to work with the P2 files, no matter what I do. Contacted Sony support on 11/12, and have received no response. Frustrating.

Just had this happen again on a different system I built for another editor a few years ago. I HOPE Magix can fix this bug!!!
