Anyone got an idea how to put a line on a map in a way that it looks like it is drawn in real time. Line is growing longer on the time axis to in a few minutes show a completed trip.Hope you understand what I meen.
The map, of course, is imported as a picture and put on a videotrack. But then...I dont know how to do it/Puttes

There's a tutorial or a veg somewhere. If you draw the line in a drawing app. you can reveal it gradually with the cookie cutter and keyframes. You need the map with line and the cookie cutter on your upper track, the bare map below.

If you need to have a line that bends as it moves from place to place to place, take a look at this: http://www.vegasusers.com/vidshare/textdisp?chienworks-maproute1

The software i wrote for it is available here: http://www.chienworks.com/software/mapliner/

PaintShop Pro, Photoshop or something. You create an image, save it s a PNG-file and import it to Vegas timeline as a still. Best thing: make a still from your map (select the best preview and click on the little floppydisc icon). Import that in your image program and draw directly on it. The save and re-import to Vegas.

The cookie cutter is an FX. Press Ctrl-alt-1 and you'll find it.

Yes, I probably should have kept my mouth shut.
