So I just bought Sony Vegas 15, i upgraded from 11, and one of the things I use the most is the pan and crop and anchor creation tool. In Sony Vegas 11 once you cut something out and connect the dots it cuts it out but in 15 I connect the dots it doesn't cut it out. And the same happens when i use the circle or square cut out tool. When I cut something out everything else around it gets dark and the part I cut out is brighter as if I cut it out but when I look at the video preview it isn't cut out, its just in its original entirety form. Does anyone know whats going on or if I'm not doing something right? Thanks so much!
