Pan & Crop...background color?

hi..a quick question about pan & crop.

suppose i use pan & crop to do a split screen. how can i make a colored border around the image, or fill in unused areas of the screen image with a color? can that be done?

there is an option in pan & crop that refers to background color, but i dont know what that does or how to use it.

I don’t have MovieStudio (just VideoFactory) so I don’t see an option in Pan/Crop that refers to a background color. You can just move the video you’re cropping to the upper video track and place a colored media on the track below it which will make the colored media show through as the border.
