Pan / Crop Editing Window

Help. I currently have Vegas 4.0 and have been using it for 3 years. Previously, when I went to Pan / Crop a picture the whole screen "became" the editing screen. Now, when I go to pan / crop it opens in the window where my media pool and other tabs show up (much much smaller window and barely anything can be seen). It wastes loads of time having to scretch out the window to see what I am editing then scretch it back. I've looked in help and online but can't find any answers.

You've inadvertently "docked" the Pan/Crop window. To undock it, place the cursor over the long thin line on the left hand side of the window and drag it upwards. Now drag it to size as required.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for taking so long ( newborns are keeping me swamped). I can drag to make the pan/crop editing window bigger. What I used to be able to do is click on pan/crop and it it bring up a bigger window to edit, I didn't have to line drag the top and bottom every time to see the whole picture. Is there anyway of getting the old way of pan/crop editing back? It was a lot easier.
