Pan & Crop observation prob and solution

I love the ability to pan across a large hi res photo. But I did notice that some smaller photos will not respond to pan and crop. I had a small bmp that I had to blow up in MS Paint before it would crop in vegas. Prior to blowing it up it simply filled the entire screen without regard to how vegas was adjusted.

You tried using the Zoom feature in the Pan/Crop tool to reduce the size of the display in the P/C dialog?

I believe that is the "Workspace" %.

I need this all the time.

I tried several things, the work space responded but the monitor did not. The soution was to resave the original as a graphic 250% larger. When this particular graphic was enlarged so as to overfill the video resolution, then the pan and crop settings worked.
