Pan/Crop unsmoothness

Used to be I could drag the frame in Pan/Crop very smoothly - now it jolts in large increments. Is there a setting for this?

Sounds like you have Snapping turned on.
It's the icon (on the left side) that looks like a magnifying glass.

Lots of settings. Right click on any keyframe and you'll see settings to change from linear to smooth, etc. Also, for each keyframe, there is a "smoothness" setting that you will find under the "keyframe interpolation" section on the left side of the dialog box.
