Pan Zoom Results

Hi all:
Question on zooming. I recently scanned a picture of a kindergarten class that I'm using for a project I'm working on for a freind. What I'm doing is showing the entire class and then slowly zooming in on my friends child. The problem that is occuring is that there is a child in the front row of this class picture with a white and balck plaid suite on. When I render the file, those lines on this childs suite look a though they are jittering and moving when the zoom effect is taking place. Just as a test, I pulled out a photo of my family and tried the same effect, I noticed that the lines in a wicker basket in the photo produced the same results. I do have the maintian aspect ratio boxed checked, but I just can't figure out why this is happening. I had the same results using a scanned photo and a digital photo. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited.
