Panasonic DVC30 and Vegas compatibility?

To any owners of the Panasonic AG-DVC30: Are you able to remotely run the camcorder from within IEEE 1394 and the Vegas Capture utility? Thank you. -Diego

(This camera is not listed on the Sony list of supported hardware--- and Vegas is not listed on the Panasonic site as compataible NLE's)

I've yet to find any 1394 device that will not work with Vegas. I have had some issues with early Sony devices sharing the 1394 bus with other devices but my suspicion is with the device and certainly not Vegas. I solved the problem by making them the only 1394 device on the system while I was capturing from them.
