Does anyone have a solution for working through intermediates / proxy files maybe? I suppose that doesn't do any good if Vegas can't read the source files for the final render... although I guess it can read the DV100 files using the free codec from AVID but only in Quicktime mode. This is confusing... heh.

I think Raylight offer an intermediate codec / capture system that works with Vegas. Also I think Cineform also have a solution.
However all this might be for P2 cards.

DVCProHD and Sony Vegas might help explain some of it.
CineForm does indeed now offer a solution as well.

Awesome, thanks!

I tried the DV Film solution and it worked. The ConnectHD app requires the Panasonic viewer, which doesn't install on Windows XP 64 so I haven't tried that one yet.
