I remember this comming up before & this was linked to.

I don't see how it can't be done in vegas, I didn't try the edges but did get a fuzzy-glassy look.

The edges are the key, the rest is pretty easy.
The COW tutorial on doing it in AE was pretty much what I was thinking, add a bevel. This could be done in Vegas using the Border FX as it has a bevel. Only issue is it looks like the bevel used in CSI is only on two sides or it's not symetric. In the end probably easier to do in AE as doing it in Vegas would mean lots of nests but I might give it a whirl in Vegas just for the heck of it.

If you ever get it to work, I'd be curious to know how. I have often wondered if it could be done in Vegas.
BTW .. in your first post, what is GB? Must be having a senior moment. :-)

I did this years ago with Vegas, bevels and all. I'll see if I can look up how I did it and get back tomorrow. You can see it in the beginning of the Houston Boychoir video on my website.
