Are you loading VF first then openning up the project OR are you clicking on the VF project file from within Windows Exporer? Can you open up VF without openning the "suspect" project? COuld you copy the the VF project, give it a different name, and then try and open it up in a NEW instance of VF?

Holy moly - it worked. I just made a copy of the original .vf file and it opened just fine. I can't thank you enough...

"I can't thank you enough..." . . . Ah, go on! Try! - Seriously, I've had something similar in the past and thought, Hmmmmm.... something is mucking about with OR was gone walk-about, Grazie just try to make a copy and rename! I've done this with Excel and Word too.

This is how good these SoFo products are. I've u/g to VV3 and now V4, the only crash I've had, to use another user's experience, is when I jump up in the air at seeing something else that these products can do and I've knock over my tea mug! I'm no programmer, but from what I understand, because all the "stuff" is S/W driven - mostly no hardware interference - then if something is amiss, pound to a penny, the "project" has got itself skewed. Meaning all the "stuff" is in there still, just trying to get out again - yeah? Could have been when you saved the VF file it had lost it's way - yeah? Copying the file may just have got all the bits 'n pices together again.

Kim, thanks is good enough!

Best regards,

Grazie

Way to go Grazie! And some interesting insight too. Grob

Hiyah Grob! - Thanks for the "insight" comment. I call it a degree from the University of Wall-Banging & Hair-Pulling - duh . . . Grob - do you think that's where the smashing Stateside phrase, coming much into use here in the UK, - "Go on - knock yourself out!" comes from?

Cheers

Grazie

Howdy my friend:

Am currently working on my degree from that esteemed institution. I always thought "knock yourself out" was a longstanding rugby exercise that we picked up from you(all).
