Panning logo in screen corner

Sorry to be taking the floor so much... I have the impression of being the only one having questions !
My subject here is I want to place a logo in the corner of the screen (like a TV channel logo). I place my transparent (gif or png) logo on the top video track. As it first fills the screen, I use Pan/Crop to reduce it and move it around the screen. However I cannot make to have it nicely fit in a corner of the screen. I can get it up about three quarters of the way, but no more... How could I move it up further ? What is the trick here ?

I'll take a wild guess that your graphic isn't the same "shape" (4x3 rectangle) as the frame. For some odd reason, Movie Studio remembers the original shape, stretched out to fit in the frame, and won't let you pan the graphic outside that shape. It seems like a very unreasonable limitation, but, it's there nonetheless and you have to deal with it.

A very simple and useful trick is to pre-position the graphic in a frame-sized image before importing it into Movie Studio. Create a new graphic at 654x480 (for NTSC, if you're using PAL then 787x576). Paste your logo into this graphic where you want it to appear, then make the entire background transparent. When you import this new image into Movie Studio it will end up exactly the way you created it, no additional panning or other adjustments necessary.
