They changed the audio routing so that the built-in track pan is AFTER the fx/buss send. It was before it to begin with. I believe they did this to match how real mixers behave - some dude probably complained about how it was illogical.

Anyways, use the Pan Plugin to get around this. All plugins are PRE fx sends, so using this plugin will behave the same way as our older vegas.

I'm not sure about pan laws though, you may have to grab a freebee pan plugin to do that stuff.

Now, just testing this in the current demo, it seems like the metering doesn't take into effect the panning while the audio is audible panning!? Anyone else see this? Is it too early in the day to start trying to use my brain?

This is really strange guys!

I can plugin Wav Hammer on the master buss, pan a track and see it's meters change accordingly, but the master buss meters look as if nothing has been panned. What is going on here? Same with the FX/Buss meters in/out meters. What's going on, did they change the routing AGAIN so that the meters show PRE panning? No, that wouldn't make sense, it's just messed up, it seems....

:/

Well at least listening back it's doing what's it suppose to, and when rendering all is fine, just the meters. I don't look at them usually but they are bonkers and are keeping me up at nights (actually, I only just discovered this a few minutes ago)
