Paparazzi stills

Hi

Anybody using the above software to grab/process stills from video.
Currently trying the demo but not totally convinced. Comments welcome. Using DSR300 DVCAM to acquire pics.

I have played with it a bit and it is a lot better than a basic frame grab but it goes back to your source: If you put in a low rez file it will still not be all that great but an HD based file looks much better. I am neutral on it really, but if you asre pulling a lot of grabs for use in, say, box layouts or the like it is probably a good tool to have.

Your welcome.
I’ve used it for a long time and I am very pleased with the results.
But be aware of one important thing: you may wish to change the pixel aspect ratio in Topaz manually (if you want to use the stills in Vegas) because the pixel aspect ratios used by the two applications are different.
