I've read a number of postings on this, but I can't wrap my brain around the math. If I render a veg with HDV media into a wmv with PAR 1.3333 and dimensions of 1440 x 1080, it's pretty straight forward.
I keep getting odd shaped files whenever I try to set the PAR and pixel dimensions for a web file. If I want to render that same veg with HDV media into a wmv or mp4 for web video, to ensure that the file remains widescreen, I set the PAR to _____ and the dimensions to ________?
Edit: Okay, this seemed to work: I kept the PAR at 1.3333 and set the dimensions to 320 x 240, and the wmv web file came out as widescreen. If any thing is wrong with these settings, I'm open to input.
