Running Vegas 3.0 I've developed a problem with audio lagging about 1 tenth of a second behind video. I can actually see the lag on the timeline when I compare the lip movement on the video line to the audio waves below it.. the word appears about .1 to .3 seconds after the video shows the word being spoken. Curiously, when I load that same clip into a different computer running Vegas 4.0, there is no lag and the video is in perfect sync with the audio line below.. So, I removed Vegas 3.0 from the offending computer and then re-installed it expecting the fresh installation would reset Vegas 3.0 to default parameters and cure the problem... not so!
What ever is happening results from some setting or glitch in the Vegas 3.0 program. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
