Parent/Childing one color

I think I've done this before, but I can't seem top figure it out.

I have three video tracks. The top track has someone in white walking around. The track below it (child) has a motion BG on it. How do I set up so what is white on the top track becomes the BG media from the second track on the bottom track (with no other picture on the top track showing up)? Is that possible?

Setting the upper tracks composite mode to Multiply (Mask) will cause the track below it to fill in the white leaving the black. Adding a Sony Mask Generator FX to the event or track and then making the second track a compositing child, will cause the third track to show through the black.
