Since your video is private, we’re not allowed to see it. :(

"Since your video is private, we’re not allowed to see it."Whoops! Sorry about that - I got my "private" & "unlisted" confused. Give it a shot now.

"you ain't seen our cane toads!"

I believe many toads were harmed during production, pity about the other 50,000,000 that weren't.

Back on topic, needs reactive lighting.

don’t forget particles as animated masks and images direct on the Sony Vegas timeline in seconds, very cool.

The first post in this thread refers to a "recently released" package.
The GenArts website shows the latest release as a point-release to release 3.0, which came out a couple of years ago.
Is there in fact a "recently released" package somewhere else...?

The point is that this version of pI works directly within Vegas.

@Bob, did you do the Cane Toads trailer? Very entertaining and clever.

At the 0:11 mark, I like the sweeping searchlight look on the letter "O". Any ideas on how to do this in Vegas? Or was this also done with PI?

"The point is that this version of pI works directly within Vegas."

True but it's not the full or "real" PI -- one cannot tweak or work on emitters in it. http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?MessageID=815302&Replies=15See this thread[/link] and my update carry-over responses to a couple of posts at the PI forum from Alan Lorence who founded/created PI.

@ jerry

Jerry you can use rays fx and select mask set the mask over the area and the rays will only affect the mask area
Select fx only

3 Examples how you can use this
1.text duplicate the text and add rays mask on O
2.ad noise fx to mask and add rays as track fx
3 to image or logo duplicate image ad lumens mask fx and add rays to mask select fx only.

Workflow layout at end of clip.

Rory, you always come through with these things. Thanks much!
